TAKE A BREATH RETREAT- PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. 

Take a Breath Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

Customized Payment and Cancellation Policy for Organizations and Closed Groups: Payment schedules and cancellation policies will be discussed and agreed upon with each organization according to their specific needs and Breathtaking Retreats requirements.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for individuals:

  • Reservation and Deposit:

    • To secure a spot for the retreat, participants are required to pay a deposit amounting to 20% of the total retreat cost.

    • The deposit is refundable only if Breathtaking (the organizer) decides to cancel the retreat.

  • Second Payment:
    Participants must make the second payment 5 months before the retreat date, which accounts for 30% of the total retreat cost.
    Once the second payment is made, the amount becomes non-refundable.

  • Confirmation for Air Travel:

    • Participants are advised not to purchase airplane tickets until Breathtakin’s confirmation.

    • Breathtaking will provide confirmation of the retreat's occurrence by this date.

  • Final Payment:

    • The remaining balance of 50% of the total retreat cost must be paid 3 months before the retreat date.

    • Failure to make the final payment by the specified date may result in the cancellation of the participant's reservation.

  • Cancellation by Participants:

    • If a participant chooses to cancel their reservation before making the second payment, the initial deposit will not be refunded.

    • Once the second payment is made, it is non-refundable regardless of cancellation.

  • Cancellation by Breathtaking:

    • In the event that Breathtaking decides to cancel the retreat, the participants' deposit will be fully refunded.

  • Changes to Retreat Schedule:

    • Breathtaking reserves the right to make changes to the retreat schedule, including dates, activities, and accommodations.

    • Participants will be promptly notified of any significant changes and provided with suitable alternatives.

  • Refunds and Disputes:

    • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to Breathtaking within a reasonable timeframe.

    • Any disputes regarding refunds or other matters shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Breathtaking is located.

Please note that this policy is subject to change at the discretion of Breathtaking. It is the participant's responsibility to review the policy and ensure compliance with the specified payment deadlines.
